I hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend! Last week's Bratwurst Extravaganza was terrific! This
week we have some great specials that are sure to please! We have our Homemade Mild Italian Sausage, Fresh Boneless Pork Chops, Smoked Ham Shanks (it's getting to be that time of year), and Apple-Cinnamon Breakfast Links on sale. Along with those specials, we have our Homemade Ring Bologna as well. We make the Ring Bologna the same way today as we did back in 1945 when we first opened. There have been many companies that have changed their recipes through the years to make it cheaper, and have strayed from their recipe because of that...not us! We start with lean beef...add fresh pork and spices, and stuff it into natural beef casings. The bologna comes in Plain or Garlic.
Sam Silverman walks into his boss’s office. “Sir, I’ll be straight with you, I know the economy isn’t great, but I have over three companies very interested in me – they're constantly calling, and I would like to respectfully ask for a raise.”
After a few minutes of haggling the boss finally agrees to a 5% raise, and Sam happily gets up to leave. ”By the way,” asks the boss as Sam is getting up, “which three companies keep calling you?” "If you must know," says Sam, "It's the electric company, water company, and phone company."
