Hello Everyone!
Well, it is a special time here at Jacobs Meat Market...my dad, Edward Jacobs, Second-Generation owner
of Jacobs Meat Market, will be honored in the Appleton Flag Day Parade this Saturday! We're so proud of him and appreciative to all who have defended our freedom and those who continue to do so! He will be escorting the US Flag in the Parade Grand Marshal Jeep, so if you go,
give him a wave! :)
This week, we have some great specials to be proud of including stuff to heat up the grill (Mild or Hot Italian Sausages, Buffalo-style HOT Chicken Brats, Philly Cheese Steak Brats, or Italian Marinated Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breasts. If you prefer to smell the house up or just prefer to cook inside, you could also try the USDA Choice Sirloin Tip Roast (Great for making Roast Beef or French Dip sandwiches once cooked). The Boneless Country-style Pork Ribs are great in the crockpot or for making shredded Pork or BBQ Pork. In addition to those aforementioned specials, we have our Chicken Breakfast Links and Wisconsin Longhorn Colby Cheese on sale too!
From a passenger ship, everyone could see a thin bearded man on a small island, shouting and desperately waving his hands.
“Who is it on that island?” – a passenger asked the captain.
“I have no idea....., but every year when we pass, he just goes nuts.”
The Sunday School teacher was describing how Lot's wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt, when little Jason interrupted, "My Mommy looked back once while she was driving," he announced triumphantly, "And she turned into a telephone pole!"
