Weekly Specials 3/21-3/24

Hello Everyone!

Specials good through March 24, 2012
or while supplies last
Well, it's getting to be (or has it been for a while) grilling season!  Time to get grilling! We have some great specials this week to help you out in that area.  We have All-Natural Chicken Breasts, Pork Chops, and even Pork Tenderloins.  This week, though, I'd like to concentrate on the Choice Natural Black Angus Sirloin Steaks.  The Sirloin Steaks we get in are the same ones we've been getting for the last couple years. They're raised in Colorado by a company called Meyer Natural Angus (http://meyernaturalangus.com/).  They raise their Beef on Grass until the last 90 days to ensure that great "Beef" flavor in their meat.  They also raise the beef that we use for our Grass-fed Ground Beef, which we've been selling for the last year.  They put out a great product and everyone seems to be pleased with the quality they produce!

Chicken Breasts on the grill
2 whole Chicken Breasts
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
1tsp granulated garlic

Mix ingredients except for the Breasts together.  Lift up skin on Chicken Breasts and rub between the skin and the meat.  Let sit for 1 hour to soak in the meat.  Grill Breasts on indirect heat starting with the bone-side down for 15 minutes.  Flip over for 15 more minutes and grill again on indirect heat making sure of no flare-ups.  Flip and grill on bone-side for 15 more minutes or until breast is fully-cooked.  Enjoy with sauteed potatoes!

Here's something to think about.

I recently picked a new primary care doctor. After two visits and exhaustive Lab tests,
he said I was doing 'fairly well' for my age. (I just turned sixty-five).
A little concerned about that comment, I couldn't resist asking him, 'Do you think I'll live to be 80?'
He asked, 'Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer, wine or hard liquor?
'Oh no,' I replied. 'I'm not doing drugs, either!'
Then he asked, 'Do you eat ribeye steaks and barbecued ribs?
'I said, 'Not much... My former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!'
'Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, boating, sailing, hiking, or bicycling?'
'No, I don't,' I said.
He asked, 'Do you gamble or drive fast cars?'
'No,' I said...
He looked at me and said,..
'Then, why do you even care?'
