Happy Sunday from Meatville!

Happy Sunday, Everyone!

Christmas is nearly here, and the calendar has officially entered that delightful phase where days feel full, lists feel long, and everything smells vaguely like the holidays. It’s the kind of week where plans overlap, traditions collide, and somehow everything works out in the end.

Whether you’re putting the finishing touches on a holiday meal, enjoying a favorite tradition, or simply soaking in the atmosphere that comes this time of year, we’re glad to be a part of it.

Stop in this week for all your Holiday Meat needs. We have plenty to choose from, including Jacobs Home-Smoked Bone-In Hams, Boneless Pit Hams, Beef Tenderloin, Potato Sausage, Kielbasa, and much more.

On Christmas Eve (the 24th), Santa will be visiting the store from 10am to noon. During that same time, the House of Chords Barbershop Quartet will be singing Christmas melodies - and at exactly noon, everyone in the market will pause and sing White Christmas together. It’s a tradition started by my father many years ago, and one we look forward to every year.

A quick reminder that the store will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve, be closed on Christmas Day, and reopen Friday the 26th from noon to 6pm.

Oh! And one more note - there will be no Hot Lunches for the next three weeks. We’ll simply be too busy this week, too busy next week, and then closed for the entire week that follows. Hot Lunches will return on January 12th.

Stop in when you have the chance. We’d love to see you.

Merry Christmas!

When you stop believing in Santa...

...is when you start getting clothes for Christmas.
