Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
Was that a bunch of snow that just fell? Was that a cold snap we just had? I think so... and it sure looks like winter has finally arrived! Makes a bit of sense, too, I suppose, considering that on February 2nd, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and thereby predicted six more weeks of winter. Could the groundhog have been right this year?
Speaking of predictions, I foresee great enthusiasm toward this installment of Our Weekly Specials! We've got Fresh All Natural Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breasts, Jacobs Famous Smoked Pork Chops, USDA Choice Boneless Chuck Roasts, Sliced-to-Order Turkey Breast Lunchmeat, Jacobs Own Mettwurst (Plain or Garlic), Jacobs Own Chili-Cheese Brats, Knaus Cheese Sharp Swiss Cheese, and Frozen Jumbo Sea Scallops! One or five things that are sure to please everyone!
According to the weather forecast, the sub-zero overnight temps should end today and we'll go back to our much more comfortable normal winter temps of just below freezing. For next week, I see daytime highs in the low forties. But I'll believe that when I feel it.
