Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
And Happy Halloween (tomorrow)!!
Oh how I remember the Halloweens of my youth, trick or treating with friends and family as my pillow case filled with candy. There was always one more house, one more interaction, one more treat. It didn't even matter what sort of candy a neighbor was providing - it was just the joy of ringing a bell, greeting the occupant with an enthusiastic "Trick or Treat!" and being rewarded with mock-fright, smiles, and a little sumfin'-sumfin' for my efforts.
Someone really should invent an adult version of trick or treating. Just set aside one night a year for adults to knock on neighbors doors, with or without costumes, just to say a quick hello and perhaps be gifted a couple of TUMS or a Pepto Bismol tablet. Something useful! Well, a boy can dream.
In the modern spirit of All Hallows' Eve, we've put together some spook-tacular specials this week! They include Boo-tiful Porketta Raosts, Spell-Binding Roasting Chickens, Spookalicious Smoked Pork Chops, Fang-tastic Steakhouse Patties, Widmer's Wicked-Good Brick Cheese, Spine-Tingling Cordon Bleu-Stuffed Chicken Breasts, Ooooozy Coleslaw, and Jacobs Own Scream-Worthy Pumpkin Spice Brats! No bones about it, all very bewitching!
Looking at the calendar, we can see that Thanksgiving is quickly approaching! This is my weekly reminder that we're now accepting orders for Holiday Birds; Fresh All-Natural Turkeys, Turkey Breasts, Roasting Chickens, Geese, Capons, and Ducks.
