Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
I stopped at a home improvement store this past weekend and was surprised that they had rows and rows (and rows) of pumpkins for sale near the entrance. I shouldn't have been surprised. Holidays always seem to sneak up on us and yes, Halloween is just around the corner-ish. And I suppose pumpkins represent more than just Halloween, they're also a sign autumn (my favorite season). And fall starts on September 22nd! Less than two weeks! Joy!
For those who want to know, I did not buy a pumpkin. But I certainly see one or three in my not-too-distant future! Along with gobs of Halloween candy!
Speaking of gobs, the specials this week at the Meat Market are gobsmackingly good! They include Fresh All Natural Roasting Chickens, Jacobs Own Cube Steaks, Jacobs Own Hot Beef, Jacobs Own Brown Baked Beans, Jacobs Own Maple Breakfast Links, and Jacobs Own Ring Bologna!
For Brats of the Week we have Jacobs Own Cranberry Feta Chicken Brats and Jacobs Own Nacho Brats! Decisions, decisions. Why not both?!
