Happy, Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
Last week I was surprised that August was already upon us. I have since recovered. Somehow, it now feels and looks like August. The days are warm, the trees are green, the skies are blue... it's gorgeous out there! I've said it before and I'll say it again; I like all seasons, but summer better than others. I hope you're enjoying the sunshine (in moderation)!
Something else to enjoy this week are the fantastic Weekly Specials at the Meat Market! We've got great prices on Fresh Extra Lean Ground Chuck, Fresh Copper River Sockeye Salmon, Jacobs Own Hot Italian Sausage, Fresh All Natural Chicken Legs, Boneless Country-Style Pork Ribs, and Fresh American Potato Salad! So many customer favorites!
And for Brats of the Week we're featuring Jacobs Own Jalapeño-Cheddar Brats and Jacobs Own Buffalo-Style Chicken Brats! Both varieties are sure to put smiles on the faces of all brat lovers!
I have a couple three quick reminders:
1. Butcher Shop Television (BSTV) will not be broadcast live today. We've done 71 weeks of live shows and needed just one week's vacation. We'll be back next week to live-stream our usual shenanigans!
2. Brat Fry! This Saturday, August 10th, TeenPact Wisconsin will host a Brat Fry at Jacobs Meat Market from 10:00am to 2:00pm. They'll be serving up brats, wieners, and smiles!
3. Our blood drive, run by the Community Blood Center, will take place on Friday, August 23rd from 10:00am to 3:00pm. If you'd like to donate, please click here to make your appointment.
