We have another great week of specials in store for you! From Walleye to Red Snapper and Wieners to
Chicken Tenders! The Tortilla Crusted Tilapia is a family-favorite of ours. Also on sale is our famous Chicken Brats for just $3.59lb! There are around 4-5 per pound, so they're really inexpensive to try if you haven't already! If you have, you already know the great flavor that they posses! Rounding out our specials are our great Smoked Pork Chops. They, also, have great flavor. They are fully-cooked, so all you have to do is heat them through. Butcher Dave's cooking suggestion is to pan-fry them on one side, then flip and put some brown sugar on the other side, and when the brown sugar melts, then it's done! Great recipe for one of my favorite Pork Cuts! Or, since it's going to be SO nice this weekend, they're also great on the grill...just put some grill marks on them, and they're done.
On a very cold and snowy Sunday, only 1 farmer parishioner showed up. The pastor turned to the parishioner and said, "Well, it doesn't look like we're going to have service today." The farmer said, "Well, if only 1 cow shows up at feeding time, I still feed him."
The pastor felt obligated and did the whole service. At the end of the service, the pastor asked the farmer how he did?
"It was okay, but if only one cow shows up, I don't dump the full load on it!"
