Happy 4th of July week! We have some great specials this week to help you celebrate the 4th! We have
Pork Steaks, Chicken Drumsticks, Beer and Mushroom & Swiss Brats, and Fresh Ground Chuck Patties! If you're not in the mood to grill, you could always just do Ham Salad (sandwiches) or Ring Bologna, or even Icelandic Haddock in the oven! The Specials this week will last today, Monday, through Saturday. Please note our store hours as we'll be closing early, at 4, on Wednesday, and CLOSED on Thursday...to re-open Friday and Saturday regular hours!
My grandma used to visit our school once a week to read to us. She walked into the 4th grade room and noticed that we were studying states. She asked if we could all name the states. We came up with about 40 of them. She joked that back in "her day" everyone could name ALL of the states.
My friend Jon raised his hand and said, "Well, back when you went to school, there were only 13 states!"
