It's a big week here at Jacobs Meat Market! We have great specials to get you in the door! Ground Chuck, Natural Casing Wieners and Chicken Tenders to name a few. Also on sale this week are our famous Chicken Brats! Our Chicken Brats are made with dark-meat Chicken so they don't dry out when you cook them. They have 1/3 the fat of a normal Pork Brat, yet they have an excellent taste. In fact, dad can't even tell them apart from a normal Pork Brat.
Another reason that it's a big week is that we're remodeling!!! We'll be closed on Monday and Tuesday of next week to do a little remodeling! I'm not going to tell you what we're doing, just want to see if people notice on their own...we're not going to change too much...that's people's fear is that we're not going to have that "quaint" feel anymore. We're keeping that and just changing a couple things around. I know that people don't like change, but it has to happen once in a while. So, once again, we're going to be CLOSED for next Monday and Tuesday, the 4th and 5th of June. Sorry for any inconvenience!
An aged farmer and his wife were leaning against the edge of their pig-pen when the old woman wistfully recalled that the next week would mark their golden wedding anniversary.
"Let's have a party, Homer," she suggested. "Let's kill a pig."
The farmer scratched his grizzled head. "Gee, Ethel," he finally answered, "I don't see why the pig should take the blame for something that happened fifty years ago."
