Happy Wednesday!  We have our most popular sale item this week...Fresh, Extra Lean Ground Chuck.  There has been a lot about Pink Slime in the news, and we've had a lot of people ask about the contents of our Ground Chuck...well it doesn't have any nor will it ever have Pink Slime!  I think that's why the larger grocery stores get a bad rap, because they try and cut corners and make something cheaper, well we don't do that here.  We do pretty-much everything the old fashioned way.  Along with the Ground Chuck, we have more popular items:Chicken Tenders, Smoked Pork Chops and Pork Steaks.

DON'T FORGET to order your Easter Ham, Boneless Pit Ham, Leg-o-Lamb, Rack of Lamb, Crown Roast of Pork, Kielbasa, etc. for Easter.  Make this Easter special.  You can either e-mail me your order or phone it in at 733-1031.

I went fishing this morning but after a short time I ran out of worms.  Then I saw a cottonmouth with a frog in his mouth.  Frogs are good bass bait.  Knowing the snake couldn't bite me with the frog in his mouth I grabbed him right behind the head, took the frog, and put it in my bait bucket.

Now the dilemma was how to release the snake without getting  bit.  So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey in its mouth.  His eyes rolled back, he went limp.  I released him into the lake without incident and carried on fishing using the frog.

A little later, I felt a nudge on my foot.  It was that snake, with two more frogs.
